On my 2011 LCI, I Replaced existing M-sport wheel with no paddle shifters with new M-sport wheel with the LCI paddle shifters. According to real OEM, my vehicle only has one part number for multi-function buttons, so I was hoping that the buttons would have the contacts and circuitry associated with the paddle shifters - No such luck. Everything is back together but the paddles are non-functional until I get a set of MFBs configured for paddle shifters, and even then I may still need some additional wiring behind the steering column. I have searched and searched but have not found any information about installing LCI paddles on an LCI car that did not come with paddles. All the threads seem to cover retrofits for earlier cars.

Don't go any larger, if that's what you're thinking.

Thanks. I assume you mean the bbk rotors. No reason to go larger. If I do it limits the 18" rims I can use. The larger rotor does not gain me much if any.

Wasn't today but did a pre-cat O2 sensor Friday on my 335i and passed smog Saturday. Probably the toughest thing I've done on a car due to the angle and limited space. Makes me want to tackle all kinds of other stuff.

Burger (BMS) sells a wiring harness from the gear shift to the steering column that allows you to wire up and use the paddles. I did this with my pre lci when I upgraded to an M sport wheel with LCI paddles.
