Glad to hear! Now don't let anything else get sucked up in there in the meantime! 🤣

Standing water can be an issue where I live. So one of the first things I do with any car I buy is remove the airbox and drill a few holes in the bottom. I suck in a small amount of warm air but it's a price worth paying.

Had my calipers powder coated w/ a high gloss clear coat on top of the powder coat.

The fist pic is a make shift press I made with an oil filter socket 67mm & a piston caliper compressor. I used it to reseal the piston boot. You have to press it on.

If you look real closely. Yes, I have brass caliper pin sleeves. The pins are 304 SS too. They do make a difference in braking. They are made by ECS. You have to lube the sleeves once a year. I use silaramic CRC silicone based brake grease. It's good to 3000 degrees. Best stuff I've ever used.

It was on my bucket list to sometime try to run the engine without an intake manifold and turns out is actually possible. However I'm sure it's thanks to the mafless tune. Either way glad it works phew

I'm very much considering that rn. My air box has a couple very small holes I saw when cleaning my KN. I was thinking about enlarging them or making more. Also these intake scoops are a scary proposition to put on now lol

I know this topic has been beaten to death but I finally reduced my psi from the recommended 38/42.

it was so harsh and uncomfortable that I was gonna replace my tires prematurely and getting new Bilstein B12 suspension.

I'm running 34/38 and it's a revelation and feels like a whole different car with beautiful handling and comfort. I had no idea it could make such a difference.

I ran 40 all the way around for such a long time that when I went to the recommended 33/36 I was in awe. Of course a day later I get a screw in my tire. Lol

I typically run 35 all the way around and I've been pretty happy with it.

Absolutely, 32/36 hot is what I run. About 29/33 cold.

Up around 40 psi the tires feel like concrete.

Yeah I saw those scoops and they seem a good idea until you consider how much water they could direct into the airbox.

I decided to try wrapping my steering wheel and my steering wheel trim. Both do not look great and I plan on redoing the job soon. I had some carbon vinyl wrap left-over from my PC and laptop project a few months back, and while it does look better in person. I'll be redoing the stiches on the top half of the wheel and will try out some matte black vinyl wrap I ordered for the steering wheel trim. This took about 3 1/2 hours to do which includes the waiting time after disconnecting the battery and the time it took to clean off the peeling rubber of the steering wheel trim.

I'm planning on trying out UK_Nomad's guide regarding the LED tail light issue in the pre LCI e93/e92 models.

I took apart my inner trunk taillights both and the leds all work fine. They don't seem to actually fail. What goes out is something else within that circuit board. I believe a capacitor or something because when they don't turn on you can unplug them and plug them in repeatedly and eventually they will turn on for me at least. Sometimes they work sometimes they don't but I'd rather them do that than not work at all. I tested the leds and repaired every solder joint.

Thanks for another great tip. The LED on my driver side trunk are completely out so that is probably the issue. The LEDs on my driver side panel are dimmed out so I'm thinking the issue with those has to be the LEDs expiring. I will try reflowing the solder first and then testing the lights. A better plan than just tearing in there hoping for the best.

I changed the oil and rotated the tires and I'll wash it in a day or so.
