Too much excitement for a Monday if you ask me.
I have no idea. One minute I'm driving down I-10 jamming to my music with my windows down the next I see brake lights and hear loud crunching of metal, squealing tires, the sound of broken glass. Three cars went to the left two cars spun, one a large Dodge Ramm 1500 did a complete 180 and was facing me that I was about to hit head on. I literally slammed my brakes and closed my eyes for a second. I thought the other white truck was going to clip me. I dont know how, but miraculously he didnt. I still pulled over and a few people seemed to have minor injuries. No one was bleeding their guts out or dead. Everyone was stunned. I-10 WB was a parking lot. I hope I didnt get any glass in my tires. There was nothing on the road and the weather conditions were clear and perfect. Someone was distracted and not paying attention.

One things for sure. That got my heart rate up.

I fix my AUX which was not playing anything, not even static lol. Took all arm rest apart, cleaned it up, fixed the issue, washed the car, detailed my tires with my new tire kit from marshalls lol

Changed out plugs and coils over the weekend. Then decided to upgrade my CP. Since I'm doing cp, ordered it with an HKS. Since I'm going to do that, I decided might as well slap on a jb4. The CP and jb4 is in route. lol. I kept it pretty stock for as long as I could. The DCI held me over for a little. I hope the jb4 and CP + BOV holds me over for a bit. ......UGH I know I'm going to want a DP and FM a week after I install these.

My baby lives to see another day thanks to my awareness and ability to control my car given the circumstances.

Heading down a road, two cars behind initial impact when someone had the gall to cross into the intersection and got T-Boned by the first of the two cars in front me.

Since it was so sudden, the car directly in front of me ended up rear ending the car that had the misfortune of taking the brunt of the impact from the imbecile that apparently thought their vehicle could pass through physical matter and 4 lanes of traffic unscathed.

I would've been car #4, but thankfully I was able to control my car and swerve down the same street that the person who caused the accident in the first place jumped out from. Me being able to swerve most probably saved at least another two cars--as the person directly behind me had enough room with my absence by swerving down the street to stop relatively safely.

Stay safe everyone and always be aware!

I counted how many bugs I've mashed, how many birds took a shit on my car, and how many chips are on my front bumper. The BMW gods hate me.

I hear ya bro. Seems BMWs are PRIME targets for bird shit, especially seagulls, especially right after I was my car. HATE SEAGULLS. I wish I could just pick em off in the parking lot with a shotgun.

Had the haze buffed out of the headlights... Will post pics after I'm allowed to rinse off the coating/compound (the detail company told me to leave the compound on for 24-28 hours)

Switching license plates, WA off and TX on. Also bought some seat covers to save the seats a bit when coming back from gym/activity so might do a dry fit. Also, Home Depot and BBB if time allows for it!

Sprayed off the excess protective compound for the lights (as mentioned here and now it looks almost brand new, and all I need to do is wash the excess off the lens (to avoid that bumpy look), but a car wash is in order as well.

I rode in a friend's Toyota when it was 95°F and I was this close to needing a jacket yesterday, but I ran an errand while it was only 78° this morning and barely felt anything on MAX... So I cleaned and greased the blower motor fan, and it seems about 20% stronger so far (but hopefully better once if letting the oil penetrate makes a difference)... Hope the dead beetle had nothing to do with it though!

So this happened over the weekend. I had an HKS Bov on my WRX in college and loved it. I kind of missed the "Whoosh" sound so got one again with the CP. Now I'm annoyed. lol Oh well.
