335i waterpump noise after turning off car

Recently purchased a CPO 2009 335i. I'm aware the water pump will continue to run after the car is shut off. However, mine is making an interesting noise while it runs. I asked a few friends with 335i's and they said there's doesn't sound like mine. I've read about water pump failure for this motor, but my car only has 47k miles.

Attached is a video I took after I turned off my car. Sometimes the sound will "slow down" after a while and you can hear the noise more pronounced, but this video it just shuts off after a minute.

Should I take it to the dealer to have it replaced under the CPO? No warning lights or anything as of yet.

I would have the dealer check it out while you're still under warranty.

I have never heard a noise like that under the hood. Something's got to be wrong.

Ended up taking it to the dealer to talk with a shop foreman. He watched the video and said that its a sign that the water pump was about to go, so they ended up replacing it through the CPO.

He said it was better to replace now than get stuck on the side of the road when it fails.

Dam this happened to me last night. I parked the car in my garage and locked the doors using the key fob. When I heard the noise a panicked and tried unlocking the car (don't know why). The weird part is that the car was not responding to the pressing of the unlock button. I manually inserted the key into the keyhole and the doors unlocked. Water pump noise also went away.
