2007 BMW 335i Knock noise! Help!

Hi, I'm a noob so please bare with me. So my 2007 335i has some noise coming out of the engine. I'm not sure if its a knock or ping noise but it seems to be present around 2k rpm - 2300 rpm. If any one knows what this noise is please help me out because im out of warranty and my car has about 110,000km on it. It was well taken care of with early oil changes.

Sounds like an exhaust leak... or muffler is loose...

An exhaust leak was the last thing on my mind. I hope its only and exhaust leak but i swear it has this nasty metallic noise affiliated with it.

Is this a new sound? D.I. engines have a 'ticking' noise..

I know about the DI ticking noise but this is new. It started about a week ago.

I just checked for any loose exhaust fittings or leaks and it seems to be all intact though the noise still persists!

hard to tell but it sounds like its in the motor. hope you have warranty still. I hope I'm wrong.
