Oh my! Them pictures are real good!
12mm spacers all round cause barely any rubbing. They make a big difference, makes the car aggressive. Everything is coming on well!

anyways, this is the little mod i have done just now... i like how easily excited you lot get when i say i have a package waiting to be opened lol :P yayayay, sooffttt nappa leather sooo much better than the old one! and it has tri-colour stitching if you have an SE steering wheel, this is a must! its much softer and more comfortable to hold (and window wipe steer lol) than that hard rubber they use on the SE...

thank you
a little update once again... she is finally properly decked i would say slammed but i know a lot of hissy fits will erupt about how i'm not slammed because my arch should meet the rim blah blah... but i scrape on humps so that's low enough for me bitches before: during: the car was already so low that we had to use a little jack and then only we could use the 2 tonne jack lol after: and coming off my drive way: my gawd i love it its sitting exactly how i imagined it (about 320mm from centre of wheel to arch on all wheels) but it'll probably go a bit lower as it settles...

Saw ur car in flesh outside Surrey Projects twice when I was getting mine wrapped Must say its an excellent make over! Only thing I would change the side skirts as well tho if I were u, noticed it straight away and pointed it out to the guys at surrey projects, but that 1m front bumper is peach!

Loving the pics mate! Decked looks goooodd!!!!
I am amazed you can actually get anywhere! I would scrape everywhere! Do you not find yourself bottoming out and the 1m hitting the ground? |

Nice transformation particularly like the 1M bumper but I bet it drives very poorly.
Waaaay too low for UK roads. Also if you start adding some more 'power' mods then it wont be a good driving experience at all, but it seems you are more in for cosmetics rather than improving the power and drivability of the car. Nice thread.

help
guys i've bought some new alloys and i need some tyre help!
don't get too excited, there's a reason i bought them after the show season and just before winter lol, they're replicas but i'm not gonna say what they are :P basically they are aggressive E46 M3 fitment so: Fronts - 19x8.5J et28 Rears - 19x9.5J et25 rear should be similar to this: linkkk i think the fronts should fit on with no problem, but the rears will require a fender roll... i wanna keep the height i'm running right now (look at earlier posts) so i'm just wondering what tyres i need to get... i want to stretch as little as possible because i still care about performance (unless it doesn't really effect it lol i haven't found much info on this!) also i don't mind a tiny bit of flare, but not too much as i don't want it to be obvious.... so i think i can run the same as what i'm running right now with style 230s: Fronts - 225/35 Rears - 255/30 i know this will give a bit of stretch, but will it be enough? then my 2nd choice would be: Fronts - 225/35 Rears - 235/35 i don't even know if this will work lol then 3rd choice is: Fronts and Rears - 225/35 i know this is mental stretch on the rear, it's kinda last resort... is there any other combination i could do? i defo wanna get Vreds btw any help would be so so greatly appreciated!

lol keeping the wheel under wraps hey!!!!
to be honest i think the 225/235 set up would be fine dude...its not even too much of a stretch! i am running 215/235 and its mildly stretched nothing too major! if you go 255 it may rub/not fit as the offsets are pretty low...plus if you stretch a little you can always poke out with a 5-7mm spacer depending on how they fit! hope that helps

definitely not agressive specs mata. you will be fine with the tyre choice. E46 M3 is not as agressive as E92 M3 specs which we can just about fit with some nice rubbing and extra camber

anddd i read that you can't use spacers less than 10mm on bmw's cos of the hubcentric lip? 'The lip is usually 9-10.5mm in depth. The lip contributes to the strength of the wheel and the wheel cannot safely be used without a lip. The wheel bolts are not strong enough to support the weight and loads generated through the wheel. Any spacer smaller than 10mm will not have a hubcentric lip on it. It's physically impossible since the spacer slides over the existing lip but is not thick enough to take the lip's place (the standard lip still protrudes through the spacer).' i thought it was pretty aggressive lol yeah i knew i defo couldnt fit e92 m3 wheels on! let's see how i get on with this

just an update... ordered me 225/35 and 255/30 Vreds... experts from mericaaa say it should be fine as it's a bit of stretch and the side walls will be thinner as they're not RFTs... might need a fender roll, will let you guys know!
