Mirror on other side is wrapped in Nardo. Was going to wrap this side in gloss black.
Feel i need a black accent at the bottom of the sills.

Note to anyone attempting this.

The "undercoat" on the non-OEM bumpers is not very good. I don't know how it would hold up with paint but with wrap, it doesn't work. When wrapping, one often needs to pull the wrap up during the process to align it or stretch it. This is usually not an issue (unless it is done too many times in the same area) but with bad undercoat, it pulls the undercoat off the plastic and when it is re-laid, it causes overlaps and valleys in the undercoat which show through the wrap. Also, inside corners (the bane of wrapping) require good adhesion and this is where it seems to be lifting because it is pulling the undercoat off the plastic.

I suggest a sanding the "undercoat" off and hitting the bumper with a light coat of adhesion promotor or plastic undercoat. (which I didn't do)

BTW I have dropped the front suspension but not the rear. The E93 seems to suffer from Gin sag anyway so I felt the rear was low enough. I kinda like the rake (ala-F1 - kidding). Problem is that the rake drops the leading edge of the car which is already low. Not sure that levelling it out will net me anything in terms of clearance.

What do you think? I have the springs in a box.

That's one of my only worries when I do attempt to wrap my car, the aftermarket painted bumpers. Ohh well, worry about it when the time comes.

Just like painting, wrapping finish is in the prep. Don't assume it will cover any blemishes. The worst blemish I have, is a piece of hair under the wrap and it stands out like a dog's balls.

To be fair, considering how much I shell out for my daughter's horse every month, mine is a cheap hobby. I recon that horse eats and shits a Porsche payment every month. Hence the 2007 E90. The other one's gymnastics pretty much explains the diy wrap.

My missus and daughter have horses too (2 + 1 retiree). Completely agree Aussie, compared to horses, car modding is a cheap hobby hahah
