335XI e92 exhaust options?

Is there an UPDATED list to what catback exhaust systems work on the e92 335xi?

I want the ATM system but I can't get work back from them with their "pre-order" will turn into in-stock.

I'm looking for a lighter weight system good for street but also track performance. The VRSF and ATM systems interest me the most but VRSF just can't seem to get a xdrive version for sale.

Thanks.

No VRSF. Something is going on over there. I bought the full system for my e92 RWD and they didn't send the tips. Been 5 weeks and I still cant get them to send me the tips. Another member was shorted the rear hanger and he is having the same issue. Not sure what kind of company does that.

Outside of neglecting a x-drive option, I feel like I heave heard too many posts stating that VRSF is having some serious stock and demand issues. Looks like they have handled the customer service side of that poorly as well.

I have the Corsa exhaust. It's expensive but sounds amazing. Build quality is top
Notch too. The piping is huge tho. I want to say 3.75 inch or something. I did have issues with it making contact with the rear subframe. I had an exhaust shop massage the pipe to fit better and added an extra hanger. That's my only complaint but been perfect ever since. It Has an exotic GTR ish sound. It's also pressure controlled so below 3000 is quiet and no drone. Really barks once above 3000rpm.

I have had it for 4 years. I think off Ecs or something.
You're right, they seem to be shipping them out in May if you were to order now.

Buy the ATM off of rushcustomsllc.com. Rush usually updates his inventory often and it is where I got mine

ATM vs Corsa? Can't tell off the sound clips. Not wanting to stand out too much with the exhaust.

The Corsa has zero drone. I mean zero.
It's the perfect exhaust if you want some tone when you put your foot down but it's never obnoxious. Just expensive.

I've been in the same situation, I'm still trying to find a catback to work with the XI as well because I definitely don't feel comfortable chopping up a brand new VRSF catback to work with the XI..

Currently I decided to just play around with the stock catback and remove the secondary cats and install vibrant 1792s in them and maybe try to get a PE mod done to the rear mufflers.

I think i've heard of the ATM catback before, does it not have mufflers? I'd assume that thing is going to be really loud

If you're running an N55 a muffler delete legit sounds good and is not that loud. Should be almost perfect with resonators in the system too.

+1

I also have the Corsa exhaust on my 2010 335xi N54. It sounds good, although it does get quite LOUD under full throttle. I have it combined with VRSF catless downpipes though, so I don't know what it sounds like without the downpipes.

Not too many other guys with the Corsa! Glad to hear it.
I went catless last year.
I remember it got deeper overall and a bit louder on wot. Also more raspy but I don't mind it. I like the turbo sounds from the back of the car now.
Does yours contact the rear subframe ? The piping is so huge it's almost impossible to . I just had an exhaust shop fix this for good.

I don't think the piping is touching the subframe. I don't feel any vibration or hear clinking noises. I'll get under the car tomorrow and check for sure though.

The only problem with the noise is that it is SO loud on startup. I feel so rude turning on my car in the driveway but then once the revs drop after 30-60 seconds, it is pretty quiet (until I start driving away lol).

It's time for my car to be inspected though and I'm terrified of failing the NJ emissions check. I have VRSF catless DPs + DPfix and Corsa exhaust. I believe the Corsa has visible secondary cats in the midpipes, right? If this is the case, I should be able to pass the visual check. Hopefully the loud exhaust doesn't cause the inspector to go on a deeper witch hunt looking for violations (to find something like the catless DPs).

I believe it's a centre resonator not a cat.

Looks like I have some homework to do then :/ There's no way I'll pass inspection this way
