"I see Sports Package - is that the M Sport package or the sport packages (seats, etc.)? Can make a $1,500 or more difference on the car value. Also, what other packages (iDrive, adaptive headlights, etc.) all of those items make a car more or less desirable. 8 months to a year ago I would have said 'Are you crazy, $21K?' now I say 'Seems reasonable if the car is nice'. And drive them both, if you like one over the other, great. I will say, the car will probably always be worth $3K more than the newer wagon so you only pay the extra once."

It's not the "M" but has the Sport Package, heated seats and I believe navigation. I'm waiting for some more detail before I pull the the said trigger.

I'm sure its gone already, it was posted a day or so ago, 6 posts above yours... But agree, this is ALMOST perfect... For me, its missing RWD and iDrive...

I have spoken to the owner! He has a lot of interest and is unsure if he wants to sell now. He said he would let me check it out this weekend if I was serious. He is about 2 hours away from me in Carmel. He mentioned to me that it was stolen a few years back and the front bumper was damaged and replaced by insurance. Not sure how that is going to show up on the carfax.

CarFax shows two accident reports. Other service reports the threat recovery.

In my quest for a 2011-12 e91 I almost bought this one:

But upon inspection it was found that the subframe was bent from running something over. It had very good service records and was quite clean. But as an out of state purchaser, the inspection shop saved me a major headache.

I saw this too as I'm looking for a RWD e91 as well. This one had front end damage however I'm not sure of the extent.

Hey spk0605, thanks to you and this fine cadre of e91 folks, I picked up this Charleston e91! I've been on the hunt since January and the owner was a United Pilot in Charleston SC who was downsizing.

I flew from Chicago early Saturday, checked out the car which ticks all my marks for a RWD wagon, and the drove home in time for dinner on Sunday.

I stopped Saturday night in Knoxville for sleep. Then on to Chicago NW suburbs Sunday am. 940 miles total and it ran flawlessly. It was really it covered with bug hits from the scenic drive through southern states, about the only downside.

I appreciate this group!
