$500 non-refundable(!) prior to any test drive.
Also note he doesn't list any maintenance other than "regular maintenance." I think he's gonna end up driving that car a long, long time. |

I try not to be an asshole, but I'm tempted to email the seller on Autotrader and just tell him how douchey he is and that he's giving BMW owners a bad name. I hate people like this!
And his fancy interior... Didn't even bother with sport seats, and still the ugly non sport steering wheel. Ok, sorry to sound elitist, but damn, stuff like that bugs me!

Unmolested?? Guess the ugly shift knob, floor mats, ebay grills, and f30 wheels don't count.
Split armrest is a nice touch, though. Hard pass at $27k like everyone else lol

Wait did it sell already at $13.5k? Not that I am in the market anymore, but sure makes me feel good about my similarly spec/mileage bluewater I got for $10,100 including enclosed shipping across the country.
Post changed to a classified post here an no more CL link. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1814814 Edit: Also what is up with email notifications for subscriptions? I get them very infrequently unless I visited the thread in the last day or so. |

Can you fellas give me some advice ?
Looking at a 2010 328xi wagon, space grey over a lobster sports interior, manual box, sports package and 88k on odometer $21,250 or a 2015 328xi wagon, auto box, white over black, m package, 78k on odometer. $17.5k . I prefer manual gearbox cars but $21,250 seems steeeeep in price or is this where these cars are in America ? What's a safer bet and or a better buy or are they both overpriced ? Both cars are accident free and well taken care of but they are midwestern cars. Any advice and help would be highly appreciated. Apologies if this is not where I should be posting this, new to this forum. Cheers ! |

Depends what you value. If you value the mechanical characteristics traditionally associated with BMWs, then you pick the 2010 e91 every time- and before someone else does.
If you want better fuel efficiency, appreciate the easy electric-assisted steering, don't mind the characteristics of the 2.0l, and possibly gain some reliability, you pick the 2015 f31. I'm guessing that if you have to ask, you should pick the f31. -Michael |

Really appreciate everyones input.....I'm leaning heavily towards the E91 but the spend on that car is very high @ $21,250.
I'm use to seeing these cars back across the pond for half the money but I do understand the "supply and demand" here in the US. I was hoping to find a wagon on this forum as I'd prefer to purchase from an enthusiast but alas not the case thus far. Last edited by urseppos; 04-11-2021 at 11:32 AM.. |
