Looking for the best glass water spot remover and sealers

The glass on my E92, especially the rear, is terribly water spotted. This is an area I have no experience with.
Here's the removal process I have in mind :

1. Wash car and clean with a good glass cleaner.
2. Clay bar.
3. Use a chemical water spot remover. Vinegar?
4. Use a glass polish for any remaining spots. Meguiars?
5. Seal / ceramic coat.

Can anyone suggest products for each step? I am looking for good value mainstream products (eg Meguiars).

I think you'll do fine with any Meguiar's product for this. I have experience using diluted Dawn in a spray bottle as a spot remover and it was pretty effective. But use it only for glass though since I read from Dig My Ride that it can strip your wax and dull your paint's finish.

I regularly use Meguiar's Gold Class for washing may car, and Meguiar's Perfect Clarity for the glass and it does a pretty fine job. (not sponsored lol)

1. Wash car and clean with a good glass cleaner.
Since you are planning on coating eventually, these are are neutral soaps that are good cleaners and leave noting (wax, polymers, protection) behind. Car Pro Reset Optimum Car Wash Gtechniq G-Wash
2. Clay bar.
Be wary of this step you could most likely introduce some defects depending on the condition of your paint. Clay towel is effective yet gentle enough to get job done with less risk of introducing defects. You can use your car wash soap as lubricant
3. Use a chemical water spot remover. Vinegar?
CarPro Spotless
4. Use a glass polish for any remaining spots. Meguiars? If you have stubborn spots try and let the CarPro spotless dwell a bit before removing it should do the trick. If not a light polish with regular non glass specific polish might work.
5. Seal / ceramic coat.
Lot of options here but these are my favorites...
1. Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light alone or topped w Gtechniq Exo Exo is awesome as a stand alone as well.
2. CQuartz UK 3.0 alone but can also be topped with Gliss
3. 3D Ceramic Coating

Thanks guys. I ended up polishing with Meguiars Glass Polish and then coating it with Turtle hybrid ceramic wax. Came up great.

Garage List
Not a mainstream product, but I had great luck with Invisible Glass + Nextzett Glass Sealant:
