I need some plumbing and some concrete for my shed and backyard more urgently.

I made the decision at Christmas to build a shed and outdoor entertaining area.

I cant afford to buy car stuff at the moment.

Roll racing next Friday
Drag racing end of April. They are open 9am-3pm for testing then racing at 6pm.

I know you like math stuff so heres some 4.10 gear stuff.
Not sure if it will get to 120mph looking at rpm left.

Launch at 3438 only 8psi or so but instantly makes 18 depending on how much throttle.

2nd gear change starts at
5265 55mph
5663 65mph
6187 84mph
6420 98mph 120m from 1/4 mile line.

Thats 120m from the finish line going off dragy app.

My calculations have you doing 133mph at 7,000rpm in 2nd gear (top gear) with 4.1 gearing with no slippage from the TC. At 6,000rpm and no TC slippage, speed would be 114mph. Depending on what revs it can pull in top gear and having some TC slippage, the speeds would be lower than these. The conclusion would be the gearing would be too low for drag racing as you would be expecting speeds across the line between 130-140mph which can't be achieved. 3.5 ratio would be ideal. With 3.5 gearing at 6,000rpm in top gear, you would be doing 133mph.

Roll racing logs and data.

6266 .84ar, 3 inch dump pipe, 14psi wastegate, 26psi wgdc 70%
Hoosier tyres
3.08 diff
Best mph 106mph 6212rpm

6466 1.0ar, 4 inch dump pipe, 17psi wastegate, 26psi wgdc 25%
Street tyres
4.10 diff
Best mph 114mph 6973rpm

Not sure if I would have got more mph with hoosiers but 100% would have been quicker and safer.

I would imagine even at 40-50 kph starting speed that you would have been spinning the street tyres in low gear. The 114mph @ 6,973rpm indicates to me that you are getting some slippage in the TC right through the rev range.

Tyres were my new front tyres.
Cheap 245 45 17r.
I just launched in 2nd gear which made the power easier to manage.

100% going to have Mickey Thompson 275 40 17r next time.

It is good to see you are getting some enjoyment out of the car now Brule. It is fun when the car you built wins 16 races.

I see on another forum that you have stripped most of the interior out of your car Brule. Looks like you are going all out race car now. What are you going to replace the sun roof with?
