"xDrive has failed" light on...

Hi,

I was driving on the freeway and the "xDrive has failed" light suddenly came on. After reaching my destination 20 minutes later I turned off the engine and started it again - and the light is gone. Everything runs smoothly as usual, so I am wondering should I worry about this?

I have a 2006 325 xi....

Your insight is very much appreciated.

I would still bring it in to your local BMW shop. They may be able to trace that error code and see the cause of it.
