Got them installed, Dot 4 fluid, steel lines, and cryo stoptech sport pads, cryo treated stoptech slotted sport rotors.

Overall braking feel is really good, no complaints, no fade after 10+ miles of hard driving.

I got akebono and I love them. Virtually no brake dust and feel similar to stock.

Drilled and slotted rotors are tough on your pads. I see absolutely nothing wrong with OEM equipment, which by itself is already fit for track use if you can just find a way to ventilate the discs properly. Looks good, but otherwise they are pretty pointless.

Oh, and Steel brake lines are useless. Your stock lines are already lined with steel on the insides I’d recommend just sticking to OEM and upgrade your brake fluid if you beat on your car.

Agreed. really any German OEM brake pad is great stuff. I have Textar on the front and while they are dusty, stopping power and pedal feel is great. I love zimmerman discs. I believe they are the same as Brembo plain discs.

Yes this is absolutely true. Oem is no doubt the best. I.dont track my 335i but I do drive it like a track car. Lol. But even the track car guys swear by the solid discs for stopping power. But yes the textar pads are really exceptional ☺
But defo try the ferodo pads mate....they will eat ur discs and no doubt give u wheel dust but will stop u like nothing else. I always say...if I ever crashed my car and said to myself....why the fuk did I not just get the dusty pads....ie textar or ferodo rather than akenobo etc.... cause good pads will always stop u sooner...rarher than non dusty pads...its just the way it is. !!. But I suppose some people like shiney look alloys than braking power🙄. Lol

Textar's dust like a motherfucker. lol. It's annoying when I have my winter set on because it bakes onto the wheel and becomes really difficult to take off (I just give up trying to keep them clean) but luckily it comes right off my summer set.

Which means OEM is more than sufficient and the best overall choice for you

Thanks!
I have StopTech drilled and slotted rotors on all 4 corners.

Holy crap, you still have the original rotors from the factory? How many miles does your car have? I would imagine they are super lipped.

Heard really good thing about StopTech rotors/pads. Going to be my choice once I do a full brake refresh. Apparently they have little to no brake dust because of the ceramic pads.

I've actually had good results with the eBay drilled/slotted brakemotive rotors and pads on my other cars. A lot of corvette owners run them and I tried on my Denali and they were great. After my centric premium and stoptech pads wore put on my WRX I also tried brakemotive and they were actually better...all daily spirited driving though, haven't tracked them

I have these on my car, put on by the PO. Coming from the E46 330i's OEM brakes, these stop much better and give nearly no brake dust. No appreciable difference in stopping in the time I've owned the car (19K miles), and they were put on by the PO so its possible they have a great deal more on them.

Highly recommend!

Car only had about 55k miles at the time. I'm at 58k now and have since gotten the akebono pads with the stoptech rotors. They're great. Even tracked the car over the summer with them and there was only a little brake fade after pushing it. Virtually no brake dust on my wheels which is nice.
