I'm not sure you could find an owner that never went over 4500 rpms in the first 1200 - - -except me of course. LesLazz - Are you sure that wasn't 12000 rpms?

If you mean the Clearbra yes, but I'm not having the dealer do it. I'm having it done at a 3M certified shop for $350.

To all:
Who is a "go" for Getting together at noon on July 12th at Domanine Carneros in Napa as previoulsy posed? Let me know--this should be fun if you can make it.

Thought I would check again as time went by.

My car arrived at the dealer in Spokane today. The dealer prep and the holiday are conspiring to keep me from my car until next week. Plus the fact that I ordered a few extra accessories (trunk liner, grocery bag thing, etc.).

Believe me - if we weren't going to Nevada that weekend, I would consider making the drive. After all, I have a definite fondness for "the grape".

Richifever - Congratulations on finally getting your ride. - Yeh, I think you're right - as soon as the cars roll in, the dialogue ceases. It was good talking to you all!

how long does it typically take to transport/prep the vehicle after the ship has landed at Hueneme?

Car is being delivered to Long Beach BMW. I'm asking because my vessel is due to arrive in 3 days and wanted an ETA on when to pick up the car

I'd say people here generally received theirs within a week. But long beach could be like 1-2 days, depending how fast VPC processes it.

To all:
Unless I hear some Yes answers, I am going to have to assume that our Napa meeting on this coming Saturday, July 12th at noon is OFF

If you can make it, please post and we'll consider putting it back on the calender

I have noticed that very few pictures have been posted of BMWs that rode the Maersk Welkin. So I guess I can't bitch if I don't post my a pic of my M3.

I have only had it 5 days while the dealer had it the other 6 days since delivery. They just fixed the EDC (Electronic Damper Control) fault. Details at this link:
