Performance Exhaust too low?

Hi all.

So I recently got the Performance Exhaust on my E90 N54 and slapped on some VRSF down pipes. I am trying to make my exhaust system a little louder, while still passing emissions in NYC... what can I do to just make my exhaust a bit raspier and louder. Thanks!

Replacing the secondary cats will make it louder, but not raspier, if you put vibrant 1792 resonators in their place. You will also free up about 5-10 HP and reduce some back pressure on your turbos. If you want loud and rasp, which I don't recommend but to each his own, replace them with straight pipe.
