EAS sells the knob in a variety of carbon fiber colors but they're pricey

Great product, if I had an AT I would def. get this mod, looks great!!
I believe they mean that their cars are AT but they'd like to eliminate the auto's gear indicator by replacing the auto's shift boot with the bot from the manual.

I'm willing to dish out $300 right now, Ironic.

Are you taking orders?

not right now sorry, there does seem like there's a lot of interest for this so I'll consider becoming a vendor sooner

Not anymore. The black CF is totally out of stock and they are not producing more because of the lack of interest. Tom@Eas told me this 24 hrs ago.

They would've sold dozens if they went the extra mile and did what you did.

maybe this is somewhat off topic.
I really like the sports A/T knob from 5ers and EU dual clutch shift knob.
Can you make PnP kit for those?
I'm def. in for that.

that might be a little hard to do, since those knobs are basically joysticks with no mechanical linkage to the transmission. but you never know
that would be great if someone can pull this off and post a DIY or something. the lines on the non-M DCT shift knobs looks much better than the SMG.

But to answer the question, it's just the knob that is removable.

I'm going to be working with Ironic possibly soon to see if he can get mine to work as a PnP, I've been trying to work on it for a while now. Just haven't had time to head out to the shop for the finalizing of it.

Hey Andrew, let's do this! I'm applying for vendorship now and after that I'll start writing up a list and taking orders on kits at which time you can bring your DCT knob over and i'll try and figure out the wiring for that.

UPDATE: Hey guys, there seems to be good interest in the kit so I'll be speaking with Jason about working out some sort of deal that will allow me to sell these kits on the forum. Stay tuned for ordering info!

from the first post

Production kit info:

Again, IF there is enough interest I will manufacture these kits and apply for vendorship. I AM NOT TAKING ORDERS RIGHT NOW. The two versions of the kits that are planned right now are as follows:

Kit A: Plug and Play Harness roughly $65 - will include
1x PNP Harness
*You'll need to sew and fit the SMG knob to your shift boot yourself
~1-1.5 hours on your part if you're handy with needle and thread

Kit B: FULL Plug and Play UNIT roughly $299 - will include
1x PNP Harness
1x SMG Shift Knob pre sewn and fitted to your shift boot
*You'll need to ship me your shift boot to be modified, but your car will be fully operational for that time period it would simply be missing the shift boot for a few days.
~5 minutes

right those prices above are the estimates. the harness will stay around that pricing but the FULL kit is probably going to be more in flux depending on what I'm able to get the knobs for
