Ok cancelled my order... I can't pick a color.

I have it down to threecolors... it's going to be either Montego Blue on Black Leatherette with Burl Trim or SG on Black Leatherette with Aluminum or Titanium Silver on Black Leatherette with aluminum trim...

Will Montego fade over time even if Itake good care of it?
Will SG get dirty extremley fast and show swirls quickly?
Which one is easier to find, and which one fits a BMW better in your opinon?
Does the Silver look cheap, and "played out?"
Will silver loose its touch after a while ie: blend in with everyone else too quickly?

here are pics of the configuration I'd Like:

cant go wrong with any of those colors.

personally, i like the montego and TiAg better than the SG. the SG looks great in some lights, but a weird eggplant purple in others.

I have the Titanium Silver and love it. You definately need to tint the windows, it provides a nice contrast. I also added the black / silver carbon roundel overlays which also improved the contrast.

TiAG is too freaken common. i have it on my current car, and one of the primary reasons I am replacing the car is I want a color that is not 90% of the cars on the road.

I would go with Montego or SG. SG does have a purplish tint under certain lighting so make sure you see it under all light conditions. Montego looks bold and beautiful under any light condition.

I kinda disagree with the 90% bit...it's only 80%. Then there's the 10% Space Gray. All the other colors of the spectrum make up the final 10%. Bimmer5abi, go for something less common and stand out a bit.

Tiag brother. Looks great in person, especially with the 19" Moor rims.

I have SG with black leather. Looks great and doesn't show as much dirt as I would've expected. Just got my first swirl marks, from the dealer no less; doesn't look bad from a few yards away, but up close they make me sick thinking about all the hours I'm going to have to spend getting them out.

If it's not Alpine White, it's not even worth discussing.

Swirl Marks? The dealer put them in and can take them out. Ask them...they know how to do it.

As far as your color decision.

Your first impression is/was important.

If you see them all as equal...

you might look at the post/poll (yesterday...in the General Section) that says something like "What color looks best on the E92". Here, the Top Colors are 1. Black (combining both blacks...65 votes) 2. Space Gray (64 votes) 3. Sparkling (51 votes) 4. Montego (49 votes) 5. AW (44 votes)....after 340 votes.

Or, if they are all equal...the other option...flip a coin.

Good luck.

Heck take the top few choices you really like and have a Vote. Worked well for me. I couldn't decide, I kept bouncing around wondering if I made the right choice... So I put it to a vote here and Finalized it on Friday! No Worries.

In the Sedan though it Has to be the Arctic Metallic. It's like getting three colors in one, or a "Mood Car".

Here's the Link to my problem solving poll...

Biggest problem I had with the E92 and BMW in regards to color choices is that there really isn't ANY particular color that gets my motor running. All of them are OK, but nothing really grabs me.
