Looks like I missed the party by a couple days. Anyone download everything want to start a torrent or have a way to share. My fault for bookmarking this back in Jan but not trying to grab stuff until now.

anyone ever get ISTA+ 4.32.15 working from this repo? I have it working but get errors when I do basic service tasks like resetting the CBM on my 2016 x5 xdrive50i

I'll get an error like this

"Error in testmodule: ABL_LIF_FAHRZEUGDATEN_BATTERIE"

usually after it complains of not being able to measure the battery voltage.

Whats interesting is that i appear to be able to do more like launch the CBM service reset service if i dont do a complete readout. In fact ive had it complain of low battery voltage when i did this because i didnt have it on a charger or running.

Heres the complete error. what stands out to me is this part "This copy of CoreFramework.dll is not licensed !!!"

I suspect i missed something in the install process. does anyone have a install guide? Ive been searching around but havent come up with something that looks like its for this specific version/set of files.

Code:
System.Exception: Failed to invoke service program. ---> System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.Exception: This copy of CoreFramework.dll is not licensed !!!

When you start getting method errors it may be an indication that you
don't have all the C++ redistributables installed in your operations system.
Check the microsoft website to be sure.

any suggestions on what I might be missing? the readme says i just need 2019. Ive got java, .NET 4.8. I went to town and added a bunch of visual C++'s that were listed in another install guide for a different version of ISTA+.

I do not see any of these errors when doing the same tasks on my e90 but thats over the DCAN cable not ethernet.

Ive also checked MD5's on the install files...

My only suggestions is to try some AIO (all-in-one) runtime files. There are some good ones that look at what you've got installed, uninstall any old versions and install all newer or missing versions. Majorgeeks is a good source, and I found another good one I think was from "PC gaming dot de".

My errors were different to yours, but I eventually found that one of the .net files that was already installed had some kind of issue, and manually uninstalling and reinstalling it via the AIO solved it.

Angry I need a password to extract ista/p, where do I find it?

Hey I might be a bit late to the party, but does anyone by any chance have a version of ISTA/P I could install?
I attempted to use this one - https://mega.nz/file/Eht3STIJ#SGF2C5...h6gJQg1DhiOJsY

But I would download the file, unzip/ extract it. Then when I would run the installer and verify my version of the software, then when I ran the ista loader it is unable to find the ISTA/P file even if I search manually for it, then when I try to extract the 25gb file (I assume is the ista file) I need a password to do so?
