Petit Le Mans water bottle FTW!

I went to Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta last weekend, and stopped by the BMW hospitality chalet at turn 11. Free entry for all BMW owners! They gave me this multi-use aluminum water bottle, which turned out to be a perfect fit in my center console. 💥

It’s a Tunai Firefly Bluetooth audio adapter. Sound quality is excellent.

Are you able to use the steering wheel controls to change the songs with that? I read on most posts you couldnt.

Just wanted second confirmation.

Unfortunately no steering wheels controls.

Don't mean to threadjack, but wanted to pass along an adapter I just got that does support steering wheel next/previous track buttons. Much better sound quality than the one I had previous, and shows song/playlist data on the CIC/CCC.

Interesting. How reliable is it? And where did you buy it since that Amazon listing shows it unavailable.

If you look down at "related products" it's just a copy of the Bovee unit. There's a few knockoffs listed there.

I've only had it about a month, but it has been great so far. My favorite "feature" is that as soon as I get in the car, it will start playing Spotify from where I left off, no fumbling for the phone and playlist, etc.

Sorry for the off-thread comment.

Tuni, Bovee, and Tune2Air still use the AUX input, so still not good sound quality. And if you search a bit you will find many complaints about it.

I got mr12volt, it's installed in the trunk under the trunk board/mat, out of sight and it is using the MOST (optical) loop. Not AUX.

Expensive, but pay once... cry once.

Valid points for sure, however, Bluetooth is the weak link as it's a lossy transmission protocol. I'm sure we could debate ad-nauseum about it, but my old tired ears think it sounds great!
