Will 18x9.5 255/40/18 with OEM suspension on an e92?
Offset +25

Will it clear the suspension? Yes. Will it destroy your OEM plastic fenders? Most likely. You'd be better off with a 255/35/18 tire, but even then, you'll need to add some degree of negative camber.

So realistically I will need coilovers with camber plates to run that setup correctly?

Yes, most definitely.

I don't see this wheel as a possibility without a stretched narrow tire and camber...I've been looking for info on a wheel I want to run, 19x9 +29...this wheel sits 10.4mm further in than yours and it looks like a 255/30/19 is about the most I can do without extensive suspension work(lots of negative camber). 255/30/19 is equivelant to a 255/35/18 in outer dimensions.
Also, you'll have 2.3mm less clearance on the strut side, which is a whole other problem. In order for me to run my spec wheel/tire, a 5mm spacer is recommended to clear... I don't think you want to go with your wheel spec. |
