I am really hoping someone can help me out.

I have a 2013 335i E92 Coupe (N55). I recently purchased a used JB4 (type B) from a member on the forum. The JB4 also came with the Bluetooth connect.

I installed everything per the online PDF instructions, but did not connect the optional fuel connectors.

I switched on the car and entered the command mode. I used the channel up button 1 time and noticed the the tach went to 1500 (Not on the 1K). I then started the car and the CEL came on
So, I set the default menu items list on the N54tech board as below
What are the default in dash settings?

Menu4 should be set to 3, menu10 set to 3000rpm, menu11 set to 1000rpm, and menu12 set to 2400rpm. If you experience a check engine light during an initial install double check these settings!

I then did a command 1:5 (reset cluster). I then “heard” a very strange noise and my navigation and idrive stopped working!

I immediately removed the JB4 and started the car. Still no iDrive and have 2 CEL’s present (P12A9 and P10F2)and the car is running very strange.

Any reccomentdation? Is it possible I fried my drive?

Sorry to hear that OP, check all the connections one more time and if it all looks good take it to a mechanic.

Hopefully this board was not water damaged and did not fry your ECU
