Performance Exhaust size

I just bought the Australian spec Performance Exhaust, but it doesn't come with the y-pipe to delete the resonator like the us spec exhaust. I was going to get a new y-pipe fabricated starting from the 2 2.25" midpipes, but I was wondering if I should keep the new pipe same size as stock, or another size for better sound.

Also, is the performance exhaust piping same size as stock?

It is the same diameter. The US version comes with clamps to mate the pieces together and it's a straight sleeve (no increases or decreases).

Does the exhaust you bought not come with at least one clamp?
