Something is amiss. The 9" M359 has an offset of ET31, and the 10" is ET25. If yours have the offsets you're quoting, then they are not M359.
Sorry let me specify, Avant Garde M359s. I'll still be running on e91 xdrive suspension, so while the front fenders will be wider (1.3"?) the rears will only be rolled and pulled. I think thomase91 was able to pull the rears out some to help. I'm running the duke dynamic rear quad diffuser with M sport rear for now to see how it like it couples with the front end conversion before I decided if I'm going to do rear fender and rear bumper conversion. It's definitely a unique setup so I haven't been able to really narrow down a solid solution for this spacer need yet

There is a guy with the full front conversion and stock rear with M359 (WHITEE92) and another with all stock non-M (SamiM) stuff and M359. Probably should hit them up. The inner clearance is the bigger problem with the xDrive.

Another lesson learned: DO NOT leatherique treat Extended Leather. Fucked that armrest up, took the dye right out. Just found a bunch of horror stories online of other BMW armrests getting destroyed. Luckily, I'm getting another one sent out. D'oh

I just ordered some Leatherique to use on my 2010 E91 and am now confused. How do you know whether you have Standard, Extended, or Full Leather? For my car, Monroney labels just list it as "LCSW - Black, Dakota Leather Seat Trim." I do not think I have real leather anywhere other than on the seats (and, perhaps only on parts of the seats). Oh, and leather on the steering wheel but I've already covered that with a new leather wheel cover. Clue me in.

This is the first time I've ever had or heard of an issue with leatherique. I've used it on Dakota leather (which looks like you have) Nappa, and novillo. Works amazing on all these applications but for some reason took the dye out of the armrest which is "extended leather" I thought it was Novillo like the rest of the interior but I guess it's not.

The leathers in most modern cars is top coated/sealed, so products like Leatherique do not perform any great function compared to "open" leathers. It sounds like that part that it took the dye out of might have been subject to repair earlier and wasn't top coated properly perhaps.

That was my initial thought but I trust the person who I bought it from and nothing had been done to it as far as repairs or re-dye. That's when I looked up a simple "leatherique armrest" on google and up popped a number of post with the same results as mine. Many of them applications to BMWs specifically.

Is it tacky if I wrap the roof and rear spoiler gloss black instead or painting it? Having a hard time justifying the extra 400-500 in paint. I'm not one to cut corners and I've actually never seen vinyl wrapped roofs in person so I don't know if they can look good or good enough

If you do a good job in gloss and coat it with a nice sealant/ceramic it will stay nice and no one will know. Also, it’s not a huge contrast from the dark blue paint.

Ok updates!

Cars been in the shop since Monday. They've been super cool about me coming in, bugging them and even swapping interior and parts out. Everything has been test fitted and their response was "this has been scary easy" thinking something is bound to F up. The right preparation definitely helps and have to give a shout out to NYBulldog for his thread! So far we've had all the right parts and brackets. Another shout out to deansbimmer for suppling great used OEM parts. I received the modified OEM rockers from LTMW, although it took nearly 2 months to get them, I am aware that these guys have way bigger projects to do and I know Long spent way more time on them than he quoted me, I really appreciate his help because they fit the Non M points flawlessly. Even fixing the projectors in the headlights was easy. I thought for sure I was going to break something but the ball and socket seated like a fat dude at Golden Corral.

I've got the two front M3 seats in after pulling all the interior seats for a sale. I sold my entire M Sport black Dakota Leather, and really fucked myself... so I thought. In a true to form dumbass moment I though I could modify the M3 upper rear to fit. In reality I have to reskin the e91 rear with the novillo and cushions. I was sweating because there was only one set of e91 leather on eBay with black carpet backing and it was selling for 550. I started looking at the M3 upper and realized it had the ski pass. Which my rear never had. So I hopped on car-parts and searched through the rear seat section for hours (they don't allow to filter for e91) and found a local 325 that had the ski pass in black Dakota leather. Drove a few hours to go get it for 60 bucks and even came with the bottom seat. The only shitty part of this story is when I got home I realize the spine on the 40 side of the seat was busted. I'm hoping I can swap the one from the M3 seat or just weld an extension on it to fix.

I was going to take apart the e91 seats tonight but think I'll just end up breaking something. I have a local guy who said he can hook me up so I guess I'll just wait till Monday.

Car will be going to paint Monday so hopefully it's a quick turnaround. I should also receive my MotiveMods M DCT shifter early next week. I already anticipate I'll need a new custom boot but I also know the people who've tried to use the OEM boot where doing it at stock shifter height, I've cut my stock down when I had the DCT retrofit so I'm crossing my fingers it will work without altering.

I also have some Cyba single layer chrome quads coming to couple with my Duke Dynamic quad diffuser. I already know It's not going to be a permanent solution but will at least appease until I can start the rear quarters and Frankenstein the rear M3/e91 bumper. Still don't know what I'm going to do for exhaust. I thought about running quad tips for the Performance Exhaust but I hear that changes the tone and I'd hate to ruin a good PE. I know I do not want to run mufflerless. My wife is already to kill me when she sees the car (I've might have withheld certain details of this project)

Also, I went ahead and pulled all the pistons from the calipers and they're getting powder coated as we speak.

Sorry I do not have any photos of the car fitted. I'll save it for the finish...

Ha, Boy was I overly optimistic in thinking the DCT boot would fit! So with the additional leather being cut from the rear bolsters I wonder if I can use that to fabricate a new boot? My worry is the leather being Novillo won't match the e-brake Nappa boot or have the flexibility of it either. I reached out to Redine Goods who said he can fabricate me one with Nappa leather, maybe I should just go that route.

As to note, picked up 5'x6' of 1080 gloss black 3M vinyl to wrap the roof. I'll save that for a project a few weeks out, want to make sure I don't want to keep the roof and mirror covers blue for a bit.

Man, still don't have the car back. The guy has been struggling with finding time and getting everything lined up properly. Tried to order a Nappa boot custom from redlineGoods measured out to accommodate the Steptronics throw. It looked beautiful but the leather is too thick to wrap around and under to fit with the shifter clip. Ended up breaking one of the tabs off trying to get it to fit. Back to square one on finding a resolution. Think I might have better luck with the manual console trim and a custom boot with more space. Car should be done tomorrow fingers crossed.

I'm pretty happy but there are some things that need addressed. Side skirts are pushed out to far where it nears the front of the car on both sides. I think the fender liners need trimmed, driver side seems ok but passenger side is bulged out. Strangely there is some rubbing on the inside of the bumper lip from the tire? Headlight to bumper has some fitment issues passenger side mostly. Have no idea why my passenger light is brighter than driver side. New bulbs in both. The shop kept the e91 skid plate on and zip tied it to the bumper. Think that is pushing things out of wack. The part that goes across the engine doesn't let the hood grilles sick flush, need a fix for that. The car is going back to the shop next week to address the issues: need to do some research for fixes.
