HPFP on the way out?
I have been getting a long crank during cold starts with the car, and after consistently scanning for codes the only one that pops up is 2AAF Fuel Pump Plausibility. I did my research and saw that if it isnt accompanied by other codes then I should just ignore it, but now I'm also getting little surges while at highway speeds. It's rare but itll happen. I've gone WOT a few times to see if I get SES or limp mode but she runs fine, just takes like 3 seconds to crank up. Time to get a new pump? Obviously I want to make sure before I drop $499 at fcpeuro

Maybe have a look here: https://bimmerprofs.com/n43n53-fuel-supply/
scroll down to diagnosis with INPA, shows you what values to expect and how to test it. Note they say it's worth testing low pressure pump too, HPFP depends on it.
