I don't mind posts get deleted if it just two vendors bickering at each others, like the recent turbo and tune wars.

But some of the posts by PTF and N54tuning asked some very legitimate questions about the origins/originality of this "new" flash software, which MHD conveniently ignored. And given that we know nothing about who is behind MHD and how did it come into development, I just don't have a good feeling about this "new complete tuning solution".

Hope I don't get banned for saying this...

Yes, the wars were epic, initially JB4 vs Procede, then RB vs Vargas and so on... Sometimes they still show up.

I think this software got its start from BB flash and then improved further (MHD can probably respond to this?). Time will only tell, what it really is, but I'm thinking it will be a great alternative to buying COBB, JB4 or something else, and even better if you have an android device.

As for questions, I notice most vendors delete some posts, as maybe discussing them would release too much "proprietary" info? Which in some cases is understandable, but in theory they will come out eventually as competition sure does buy each others products and play with them.

MHD flasher is not Cobb reverse enginered.
It's a direct competitor to Cobb AP, much less expensive, modular, and allow to flash tunerpro edited bins, so it's much more open than cobb.
Editing torque ceiling tables is great too.
But it's not a competitor to piggybacks (jb4) which allow to edit boost targets really easily, but it should work in cunjunction with the JB4.

Anyone who truly understand whatMartial has achieved by putting down a lot ot ingenuine effort appreciates wholeheartedly what he has done. Please keep the bickering out of this. And your "thoughts" that are just guesses and wrong. The community can build on Martial's work for our benefit. This is a breakthrough.

They did ask some very pertinent questions, which were subsequently answered, but due to the fact (and its the same on a forum I moderate) that this is a vendor announcement/discussion thread, competitive vendors are simply not allowed to stir the pot, however relevant.

Anyway, yeh, questions were answered to satisfaction. Martial dude clearly knows what he's doing.

Vendors can't delete posts, trust me, I'd have plenty of posts I'd want deleted if that was possible!

However, vendors and members can report a post if they find them offensive.

In regards to other politics, I can't comment but if you want a completely unbiased forum that is something I've yet to see.

I haven't followed this thread too much so I don't know what posts were deleted or proprietary information and toes were stepped on. Just wanted to clarify vendors can't directly delete posts. It needs to be done by an admin or moderator and it's up to them to make the final decision if it falls within their guidelines or not.

No plans at the moment.

The beta application has now been uploaded to Google store and will be available within a day for those I have been in touch with. You will be noticed individually.

Installed flash today. Datalog over the next few days. So far I'm liking what I see. If ken is reading this gimme a call lets see what a fully stock car can do.

I can say the interface is smooth as glass. No crazy prompts to follow or instructions that need a degree to understand. It's easy to see that it was designed by a used not by an engineer. An engineer will make it work based on directions, a user will make it work based an someone with no knowledge going in with the ability to flash.

Thanks for letting me on the beta team. Can't wait to share the results.

Also impressed, I'm running the stage 2 map. Waiting on a new OTG cable because mine seems to have a bad connection. If I move anything it looses connection. Also a big plus, no timing drop when shifting (6mt).

Couple questions, how about those that have already bought into the Wedge/BQ flash ATR for the $200? Do we get access to this program as well?

Secondly, will this MHD software flasher/ app be able to control meth flow so I can ditch the JB4?

Thanks!

For the meth, you'll need the JB4 or the aquamist controller.
Application downloaded, will try it tomorow, Still stacked with my JB4, with menu4/2 (jb4 boost targets) then 4/3 (DME boost target).
