Longitudinal Accel Sensor Fault After Coding Used DSC Module

Hello,

I recently helped a friend replace his DSC module with a used one after he received the trio of faults on his cluster. I successfully updated the vin in the new module (its actually a used module) and I was able to reset all the calibrations using INPA except for the longitudinal acell. sensor in which it gives me a fault (can't remember exactly what it said off hand). Also the only light left on the dash is the yellow "BRAKE" light.
One thing to note is the ZB number that that was written to the module using WinkFP does not match the number originally on the unit. I'm not sure if thats an issue or not.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like usual steering angle sensor needs calibrating. After playing with DSC this often needs to be done. Use tool32.

Thank you for the reply. I already calibrated the steering angle sensor (I used a Snap-On scan tool though) and that got rid of the latitudinal sensor fault. However the the longitudinal sensor fault remained. I'll try redoing the procedure in tool32 and see if that does the trick.

Ok so I tried recalibrating the steering angle sensor using tool32 and the BRAKE light is still lighting up yellow. We replaced the pads and sensors (pads were about due anyway) and checked the brake fluid level. The ABS and traction control seem to be functioning as they should.
The fault code I'm getting is:
5E34- Longitudinal acceleration sensor signal out of range or electrical faulty.
Any ideas?

Thanks again.

Try replacing the sensor? It's normally under passenger seat...

Wheel bearing going out and the usual Xmas tree of lights come on.. Ive heard of the abs system going mad because of a bearing but I'm getting the stupid 5e34.. I guess I'll replace the bearing and go from there. Earlier this year I got the Xmas tree and it went away on its own for about a month but now it's back, except sooner.. Almost immediately on each drive.
