p0133 slow oxygen circuit response
A little backstory on what's happened so far... I have a e90 n55 with a JB4, catless downpipe, catless exhaust, and intake and decided I wanted a change so I had a friend with tuning software write a stage 2 tune on the DME and I removed the JB4. For the first few days the car ran great, I had the extra power and it was a thrill. Soon after, I received a P0133 fault which is 02 sensor slow circuit response on bank 1 sensor 1.
I cleared the code and continued on. It came back. So I had my friend flash the DME back to stock and ran the car again for a few days. The code came back again. Next, I had the mechanic replace the O2 sensor on Bank 1 Sensor 1. At this point, the car does not have the JB4 or a DME flash tune however I just received the CEL for the same fault. Also, I had my muffler shop remove the secondary cats a few days ago and they did not mentioned any leaks in the exhaust. When car is idling with the hood up, I also do not hear any hissing or leaking sounds on the intake. Just not sure where to go next. Could it be the downpipe? |

Hmm... Weird, I know that Codes means that there is a slow response or signal on bank 1. can the actually port be the problem? have you inspected it for bent pins or dirt/damage?

Do you have an O2 simulator/fix installed? I had an a r e a 7 4 on my 2011 N55 with a JB4 and when I really got on it the simulator couldn't keep up and gave a slow response code.
