Help with Cable

Will this cable work with my 2006 BMW 325i? I want to code my car.

I bought something that looked very similar:

The cable worked perfectly, but the software was a bit flaky.

I had to download newer daten files (V41?). Then the INPA, NCS Expert and DIS worked OK, but I still can't get the SSS Progman to work.

We can't use the same programs in the guide's and DIY's?

Yes, we can use all the same programs found in the guides and DIY's on this forum. I only meant that the software supplied on a CD with the cable was a bit flaky.

It is probably best to check/download the latest versions of software, rather than rely on the version that is supplied, especially if your car has been recoded at the dealer in the last few years.

This cable uses the slower interface (can't remember name) so it is only compatible with the earlier E90's. My car is 2006 and the cable works fine.

I started by following the tutorial by junior - recommended.
