MFest IV - Vegas - April 16-18, 2010

Any of you guys interested in going?

http://www.mfestforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3284

Looking at all the videos and pictures from Mfest III there is no way not to go

Buddy of my mine and I are going 100%

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guys,

I wanted to share some more info and give you some of my thoughts, so here goes:

Obvious thing stopping most of you from going is the distance and the 20 hour drive. Dont be scared of it, our cars are designed to handle
trips like these and no better way to enjoy our cars than taking a trip like this. If you were to drive ALONE for 20 hours, yeah it would suck
but like 02CBM3 said we're going to be in a caravan with many stops. Caravan is 50% of the fun, TRUST me, these caravans will be fun.
So, tell yourself, i'm not ALONE,i'm in a caravan with buncha other enthusiasts driving these beatiful cars. If we get our OWN WA/OR caravan, we will design
to make everyone happy. We'll make necessary stops, we will support each other and be there for each other.

Once we get to Vegas, thats where other 50% of fun starts. Mfest coordinator has ton of surprises for us this year, this is his 4th year doing this and
he knows what his doing. Every hour will be planned for us with ton of FUN. Most of the forum sponsors will be there with their cars, you will get to
drive their built cars. Some of these sponsors are building cars just for this event. Then, the track day, even if you dont feel like doing the actual track
just being there will all these cars(HPF cars) will pump your heart. Once night time rolls around, then all the parties START
Chris(coordinator) is not releasing half of the stuff he has planned for us, so i myself can't wait to see all the surprises. If you bring your wife/gf with you, they
get started off with a Mfest Gift Bag.

Lets go back to our 20 hour drive, we have few options, one is to drive straight down to Vegas and other is to break up our drive.
If we do break up our drive, we can go ahead and drive down to San Francisco area, spend the night there and join the NorCal caravan(200 cars) and then
head out. We're looking at 12 hour drive to San Fran and then 8 to Vegas. I myself like this option BUT we can ALL get together and decide as a group what
we wanna do and how we wanna do this.

Lets go ahead and spice this up a bith with some PICS and VIDS:

Some Fine Ladies, u guys still sure u dont want to go?

02CBM3 will provide you some videos for further proof of MAD fun

3. We'll have more info on the track and the event very soon, pls alwyas check this thread, as we'll walk you guys through everything and try to answer your Q asap!

4. As for the drifting, were thinking of doing one....We'll have to see how the layout and how much space were getting....

5. Were also planning on renting a go kart facility for friday...

This will be all dependent with the availability of the facility and timing of course
6. There will be a ton of events, there is still a lot of pending information.

IMAGE OF WHERE THE TRACK EVENT WILL BE HELD.

This one is crazy...20min of nothing but cars leaving the staging area...

POSSIBLE ROUTE JUST TO GIVE AN IDEA OF MILEAGE

Mfest is fun and definitely an experiance but now i got bills to pay too

One negative aspect of being in seattle is the drive-back after... have fun, take lots of picture and most of all be safe!

Guys, come on, it will be fun, caravan itself is 50% of the fun. Ton of stuff is planned for us once we get there plus there is a track day too.

As far as the drive, come on, there is no better way to enjoy your car, once we hit Nevada, its gonna be like being on the track

The original plan was for everyone to stay at the city center but it was decided that it was WAY TOO SMALL so they are now looking for a larger cheaper place. Chris (Mfest Coordinator) is suppose to post the new lodging location this week.

And for all of you that are worried about the drive time, understand that driving for 20hours alone and drive 20hours with a ton of other people is like night and day. Dont punk out, once you get the Vegas the drive will be plenty worth it. Read through the Mfest thread and see what all the plans are....dont be so quick to bail.

But I'm going Rain or shine!
