Guys,

I wanted to share some more info and give you some of my thoughts, so here goes:

Obvious thing stopping most of you from going is the distance and the 20 hour drive. Dont be scared of it, our cars are designed to handle
trips like these and no better way to enjoy our cars than taking a trip like this. If you were to drive ALONE for 20 hours, yeah it would suck
but like 02CBM3 said we're going to be in a caravan with many stops. Caravan is 50% of the fun, TRUST me, these caravans will be fun.
So, tell yourself, i'm not ALONE,i'm in a caravan with buncha other enthusiasts driving these beatiful cars. If we get our OWN WA/OR caravan, we will design
to make everyone happy. We'll make necessary stops, we will support each other and be there for each other.

Once we get to Vegas, thats where other 50% of fun starts. Mfest coordinator has ton of surprises for us this year, this is his 4th year doing this and
he knows what his doing. Every hour will be planned for us with ton of FUN. Most of the forum sponsors will be there with their cars, you will get to
drive their built cars. Some of these sponsors are building cars just for this event. Then, the track day, even if you dont feel like doing the actual track
just being there will all these cars(HPF cars) will pump your heart. Once night time rolls around, then all the parties START
Chris(coordinator) is not releasing half of the stuff he has planned for us, so i myself can't wait to see all the surprises. If you bring your wife/gf with you, they
get started off with a Mfest Gift Bag.

Lets go back to our 20 hour drive, we have few options, one is to drive straight down to Vegas and other is to break up our drive.
If we do break up our drive, we can go ahead and drive down to San Francisco area, spend the night there and join the NorCal caravan(200 cars) and then
head out. We're looking at 12 hour drive to San Fran and then 8 to Vegas. I myself like this option BUT we can ALL get together and decide as a group what
we wanna do and how we wanna do this.

Lets go ahead and spice this up a bith with some PICS and VIDS:

Another little tip: 3 years ago, 6 of my motorcycle buddies and I took a 3000 mile trip over 6 days and this was a BLAST. Trip was well put together and we had no problems. I still remember the trip like it happened yesterday and still puts a smile on my face.

So this of our Mfest trip as a lifetime memory, we'll look back on it forEVEr

1. Yes there is a track fee (price will be around $150-$175) for the full day...

2. There will be a registration process for the EVENT (price still being determined) and the track aswell...

3. We'll have more info on the track and the event very soon, pls alwyas check this thread, as we'll walk you guys through everything and try to answer your Q asap!

4. As for the drifting, were thinking of doing one....We'll have to see how the layout and how much space were getting....

5. Were also planning on renting a go kart facility for friday...

This will be all dependent with the availability of the facility and timing of course
6. There will be a ton of events, there is still a lot of pending information.

IMAGE OF WHERE THE TRACK EVENT WILL BE HELD.

This one is crazy...20min of nothing but cars leaving the staging area...

POSSIBLE ROUTE JUST TO GIVE AN IDEA OF MILEAGE

And myself and mookster will actually set a firm plan, if we can get an idea of how my people are actually willing to make the drive...from planned out route to NorCal to setting up a group rate at the hotel for the one night we would be in Cali. Leaving Early AM Wed. April 14 arriving in Cali late Evening same day. This is the SEMA of the ///M world!!

I agree 1000% driving IS the reason to go
I'm just worried i would be shunned and/ or left behind in my lowly 335...

we need to get some costs for lodging/ track/ event costs..
Holly shit that picture look like it has tons of race tracks on it!!
looking foreward to more detailed info..

I will do my best to post actual details once available

I think at least $1500 is gonna be needed to cover the entire trip including hotel and food. I know that $1500 sounds like a lot but we about 3 months to save up and i think its something we all can do. Tax refunds are around the corner too.

Then there is a registration fee

$135 (guys) $50 (women) Registration is per person/individual ...

Includes AutoX ....

If you want to run the actual track, the fee is $150

so one night im assuming for the 16th-17th right? 145+135+50+150=480+cost of the tip down.

so the 135 and 50 registration fee is to get into the event?
