Replacing valve cover + injectors what else?

Hi,

As the title says, I’m going to replace the valve cover as it has a crack and the injectors because they are still index 1 and some of them are leaking. But what other components needs replacing as a while i’m in there job?

I’m planning to replace the following components, my car is a late stock as in no aftermarket parts with a tune 2006 E92 335i without the oil cooler. So I’m retrofitting one.

- Original BMW valve cover comes with gasket
- Index 12 injectors with the locking rings
- Oil filter housing with thermostat mounting (found one in excellent condition for €50,-)
- Mosselman Oil Thermostat
- upgraded metal pcv valve
- pcv tube/hose
- gaskets for oil thermostat, oil filter housing, o- rings for oil lines, gaskets for manifold
- Oil radiator and lines (seems hard to find used here in the Netherlands)
- Right side wheel arch with oil cooler ventilation option
- Bosch spark plugs
- Oil
- BMW Coolant

The things that has been done recently

- Delphi coil packs
- Original vacuum lines
- Pierburg solenoids
- Vanos solenoids
- Oil pan gasket
- Turbo oil line gaskets
- Walnut blasting
- HPFP
- Waterpump
- Coolant line that runs on top of the radiator
- And a lot of other things, but those are not engine related

Any thing else that I can do while I have the space with the valve cover removed?

The Mickey Mouse Flange under the OFH is plastic and it rots from the inside out. I pulled mine out and it broke into three pieces, I would recommend an aluminum version.
