E90 inner brake light issue. Coding?

Hi Guys,
I've only just discovered this part of the forum. I'm in New Zealand and wasn't aware there was an Australian section. I posted this thread in the main forum so thought i would repost here to see if any of you could help me with this one possibly.

I have noticed on my car that only the outer brake light works on both sides. No CC faults, no faults stored when i scanned with ISTA. When i activate the brake lights via the ISTA test module, both the inner and outer lights work (as i think they should) I have checked 3 other E90s and they are all the same, only the outer brake light works. I am thinking this could be a coding issue forthe Japan region? My car is a Japanese import as are most cars over here.

Wondering if one of you guys could have a quick check of your pre LCI E90s and let me know if yours is the same? Then maybe we could compare FRM.TRC files. I had a quick look at the FRM.TRC files and found RL_L_ BREMS_ FKT and changed that from not active to active but that didn't do anything. Thanks heaps in advance.

Managed to rectify this. Both lights are working now. It was a coding issue. Changed values with NCS Expert.

It would be the parameter along the lines of "brake force display"

ie. the inner globes only light up once you generate a certain pressure using your foot.

Well since I'm a sharing and caring Kiwi I'm more than happy to share what i changed. First i made a copy of my original file in case a f'ed something up. Then after a bit of trial and error i found it was the BFD_BREMSL_FKT changed it from NICHT_AKTIV to AKTIV

If I'm not mistaken, my car doesn't have the brake force display. In my options list i have this option S5ABA Twostage Stoplamp Discontinued.
