Let me just jump off this cliff, where my horse dies, and I just walk it off and take a nap inside my horse.

Unreal. I almost laughed out loud. Maybe this movie was a comedy?
Just like the Martian being in the comedy category at the Golden Globes.

I thought it was GREAT, but I also love "Jeremiah Johnson". If you didnt like it, I would bet you have never been in the SERIOUS back country or been that cold knowing the only there is nothing else to rely on but yourself. The amount of mental fortitude it takes to survive that type of lifestyle is seriously amazing. It took me back to my days as a mountain guide in Montana so I LOVED IT. I would almost guarantee Leo had some kind of wet/dry suit on under all that fur gear to protect him in the water scenes. When he was floating down the river though if you looked around there was no snow on the trees, I bet that scene was shot during a more tolerable time of year and edited. The jumping off a cliff and hitting a tree then popping up was a little too far fetched for me, or the walking pretty soon after they showed his ankle completely dislocated dragging himself around. The true story of the man Glass is pretty impressive though, without the fake son Hollywood added to the story.
