Oil Level Sensor

Hello, I have an issue with my Oil Level Sensor on my 2011 328xi. The pigtail plug that connects to the sensor itself has wiring that has been damaged.

I believe the part I need is BMW 12527507258 as it looks identical to the one I pulled off the vehicle.

My question is how do I correctly wire this new socket housing? I saw I will need to change the pins from the old plug to the new one.

Call up ECS/FCP and confirm fitment. They're really helpful and responsive. Real OEM Lists this part for pre-lci vehicles. FCP lists it for up to 2010 328xi. Most likely it's the correct plug, but double check. I couldn't find the plug on realoem or FCP for 2011 328xi N52

The plug looks like it already has aluminum connectors that you crimp before inserting into the plug. Maybe try to disassemble the old plug carefully and see how it goes back together.

How did you break the connector? Disconnecting? Driving around without the undertray?
