Diesel smell in cabin and underhood

Recently I changed out the thermostat on my 335d and after that noticed a slight drop in fuel mileage and also a slight diesel exhaust smell coming into the cabin. Popped the hood this morning, removed the engine cover, and found the culprit. Turns out I didn't have the charge pipe completely engaged. Whoops. Corrected and working fine now. Below are the before/after pics for anyone chasing down a similar problem.
