Anyone who owns an E90 know how to remove the moulding in the diagram at
The moulding is number 7 on realoem. It's painted plastic. Does it require a gasket or clips? I don't want to break the plastic trying to remove it. Any advice would be great! Also, the painted plastic is discontinued

Link won’t work.
You’re talking about the plastic piece on the side of the windshield?
It just unclips.
Sometimes the clips break.
It had a small rubber strip on it.
The strip is attached to the strip and usually reusable.

Wait until spring and then change it. Let this winter finish beating on it first.
