Well I know the smaller pumpkin with the wavetrac was probably 10 pounds lighter than my stock large pumpkin. Not sure how much is attributed to the smaller design, but it doesn't seem like the diff unit itself could be much different.

When I received my Quaife diff (pumpkin) the box was 43 kg, i.e. about 95 pounds without fluid. We didn't weigh the standrd diff, but I don't think there's any significant weight difference. I carried both (in the box) and didn't notice any discernible difference

When mine had fluid it in with the wavetrac it was right at 100 pounds, that beesh was heavy, and a PITA lifting into place when the car is on jack stands.

I just weighted mine with 2 scales. Without oil it only has 77 lbs. This is for the standard open differential. If the Quaife or Wavetrac add so much that it will weight 85lbs or 100lbs after fitting then I'm glad I chose the Drexler, they advertise lightweight as one of their strengths.

edit: actually you have a manual, which would be the larger pumpkin, so I'm surprised it only weighs that much.

3.08 fdr is for manual, all manuals are the larger pumpkin. And of course you can tell by the front being longer. Here is a comparison:
