what do u mean? it still runs like a champ. the parts are all taken apart cause it is easier to rebuff and wet sand it individually. the oem paint is too soft and has too much orange peel. if u are referring to that than u should blame bmw for ruining the car. if u are talking about the widebody, that's just preference i feel the front should not look wider than the rear or close to. im just showing pix of things no1 else on here is doing. i personally think it's cool to see what is cover by the all those plastic. anyways, i've enjoyed the process so far. .

This seems like a great build. What stereo components are you actually putting into the car? I love the fender flares, I was hoping someone would make a set of add-on pieces, but I guess you just couldn't wait. Good luck, the car is looking great so far.

If everything goes well fenders flares can be duplicated as add-on for forum members.

H O L Y M O L Y.

Rip it up, man!
Gonna dig this.

How do you go about visualizing how it turns out?
Draw from other vehicle designs or make it up as you go?

You have got to be the same person who just had to take everything apart, I'm guessing....

Ok some of the parts came back from the body shop
These items have been wet sanded and waiting for the solvent to dry and harden. Then afterward use a smaller grit and sand it again then repeat another then buff and polish then done.

In the mean time more dissecting of the car.

There's got to be a reason for all this madness

Re clear those panels, oem paint is so soft all your work will go to waste soon, bmw jet black swirls if you look at it funny. Love what you're doing with the car though, definitely going to be a bad ass transformation.
