And 1300 EUR is cheap, I thought this would cost at least 5000 EUR. Can you gave me contact who did paint you car ? Maybe I will do the same and Germany isn't far away from me...

What?!? Cheap? You can paint your car for that much coin.

I think its a cool idea if you get tired of the color of your car, but $2k+ for vinyl is crazy.

Ups I thought its real paint.. because my friend painted his car to white and paid about 5000 EUR...

Anyway this with vinyl looks great... I didn't know that this way of painting exists...

1200 euros right now is a little over 1700 dollars. i would just do the CF on the roof. what would that cost?

very cool project, but like Suareezay said, the vinyl can't compare to the depth or reflectivness of a proper paint job.

how about the door jams? are they vinyled as well?

That's insane. I don't think I'd want to do it, but it's very cool still. I assume as others have said that it's never going to be as perfect as paint, but for someone who doesn't care that much, it's a good idea. Imagine just changing the color of your car every few years.

I would LOVE to get my car done in a matte dark grey color to match my wheel's finish!! Oh man. . . . that would be killer. And I think this is NUTS! But I'd have to see it in person. And unless all the pieces are precision laser cut to fit, then it seems like the corners and edges would be off. . . since they'd be cutting them with knives.
