wonder what the peak will be when properly tuned
What type of fuel were they running for those numbers? Id assume straight e85 and meth.

You guys need to visit frankenturbo website and see the dyno plots they’ve posted. Seems like the max these will make with PI is 600whp and with FBO e85 is 500-530whp. The very first dyno they posted making 650ish was a fluke and pushed the turbo/motor beyond what they wanted, basically glory run.

500whp on stock turbos means nothing. Whats importan is the over all power band or power under the curve. I would take turbos that can make 460whp between 3000 to 7000rpm rather then ones that make 500whp between 3000-4000 then drop off to like 400 after 5000rpm.

So again. Talking only peak hp means nothing

Ya, these and oem don't even compare, if what we get are the same as what's been seen and tested. Definaly could be a top contender for someone looking for a modest bump with the reliability of an oem.

apologies if this has already been discussed, i did start from the beginning but must admit I was too curious and skipped to the end to see what progress had been made.

this might be a stupid question but would these fit a rhd UK car?

Thanks

I say this all of the damn time, people plop down their 'high whp' stockers and the drop off in power after like 5800 is embarrassing

Noob question. What kind of power would be expected with typical DP's, 7"FMIC, DCI,CP and stage2 LPFP? Would this max out the fuel system on Pump gas or E50 mix? I looked at the the website didn't see any dynos for a typical FBO car. Also I have an auto would I be exceeding the 600trq level?

Well I mean Doug still has OEM cats I believe. Minus meth and full e85 you should be able to hit like 16psi but its kinda sketchy. E50 would do the trick to probably 20-22 psi. With the power Doug is making you could probably expect mid 500s but if you wanted to push everything you could probably see 600. Also I believe the max torque for autos is around 550 but I know people who run way more.

I didn't look any of this up so take it with a grain of salt. Just personal experience and friends cars.

It will depend of the AT condition. Some won't hold even stock HP/TQ level and slip if they have been abused and neglected. On average AT in good condition the recommended HP/Tq is 500 with longevity in mind. Sure, one can push more but that would be during glory runs with AT tune and fresh oil. Certainly won't be daily repeated occurrence because AT would break.
