Climate control air distribution gone after combox retrofit

I have an 09 LCI 335i e90 the car came with TCU and MULF and I just recently swapped in a combox. Before the combox I would press the Auto button the climate control and on the iDrive screen it would display a graphic showing some air going to the top some middle and some bottom. Now that I've put in the combox pressing the Auto button this does not happen. I'm not sure if this had any functional significance although it seems like now when I press Auto and I have it set for colder air it all goes to the middle section with none at top or bottom when it used to disperse a bit to top and bottom. Can I maybe code this back in or has anyone else experienced this?

I know it’s an old tread but I am wondering if you have any update/ solution on this. I got the same problem after CIC retrofit.

I don't know if this matters, but my car came with the CIC Pro Nav from factory and mine doesn't show anything special when pushing the auto climate button. Maybe the CIC units don't do this?
