Turned out that it was a bad starter. Ordered one off ebay. Also had my spark plugs changed as well. I had the spark plugs sitting in my garage for 3 months. since most of the engine compartment was to be opened to replace the starter I have them changed.

if you are going to purchase the parts make sure along with the starter to purchase the bolts too. you will also need intake gaskets too.

Mine was done, 1 tech 5 hrs job. good luck
