insurance cost

I have a 2006 325i and need insurance since I am getting charged to much. What do you guys pay for full coverage? I know it's not the same for everyone but I want to know what company charges less that way I can then get a quote and see. Thanks

Everything matters, age, single, married, commute, credit, multiple car / policy discounts. With that being said, $740/year on 2009 335i.

2009 BMW 335i full coverage $1600/yr. That is with home owners insurance and motorcycle discount, with progressive. In San Jose, CA.

edit: Lots of people in San Jose with 3 series that can't drive, jacking up the rate for everyone.

This ^^^^^

I pay about $1100/year full coverage with $100k/person for bodily injury.
I forget all the conditions and coverage, but it is more than 2x the state requirements.
$500 deductible on collision and $100 on comprehensive.

This is for a 2008 335i.

Sorry but it's really meaningless to compare your rates against anyone on this forum. There are too many factors involved in car insurance premiums.

Your best bet is to call around to different insurance companies and get quotes.

Fair enough, just realize that Progressive, for example, could cost $500 in one zip code and $2000 in another. Then take into account age, driving record, deductibles, coverage limits, credit score etc and you'll see that nothing that anyone can post here will have any relevance to what you will pay. Sorry but that's the facts of how insurance works in this country.

Use a broker and let them do all the leg work; sit back and wait for a call or email. It’s that simple.

All I can tell u is that every place I called that runs ads on TV gave me at least $1000 more then quote I got from local agent

This year I pay $1600, few years ago I paid $1300, my wife pays $1000. Some towns that are only 20-30 min away and prices would be $200 less. We both don't have any discounts, full coverage with $500 deductible

Insurance is based on age, driving history and length, type of car, age of car, and the number of accidents in your zip code for your style of car.

Do to rise of health care cost, insurance companies are raising the costs of rates, to offset the difference. This applies to cars, motorcycles/ATV's, boats, and home owners insurance.

You Canadians get hammered on car insurance, I’m 45 minutes south of you and only pay $640/per annum for full coverage.

I pay $520/year for my 2007 335i w/GEICO.

Bodily injury: 100/300
Prop. Damage: 100
Medical Payments: 2k
Uninsured Motorist: 100/300

And a $500 deductible for comprehensive and collision.

However, I think Wisconsin is in the top 5 for lowest auto insurance rates in the country

$373 a month full coverage on Long Island, NY.

I am 26 with a terrible license from 17-22. Haven't had anything since, but they are tough on me.

Believe it or not location plays a big factor also, it's crappy but it's how it is.

I pay $90 a month full coverage for my E92 335, $500 deductible, 35, maybe one ticket on my record, 3 other cars on my policy, suburbs of Portland OR.

Word on location again....I live in pretty good area but since its not exactly suburbs my insurance is higher then some other shitty towns further away. Car doesn't make much difference, I paid the same for my old Maxima and same for newer M3
