Hid Fog kit for e90 LCI

So I have been searching for days but I could not find a single thread with a 5000k hid fog kit installed on a 2011 328i e90 with no errors. I have heard the mtech hid kit is really good, but I don't want to spend over 200 dollars for fogs.

MTECH kit - Too expensive
Highperformancebulb kit - No 5000K
DDM Tuning - Throws errors

Any suggestions would be awesome!

Is the Hoen bulb halogen or hid bulb? I have the diamond vision right now and its pure white, but not as bright as hid.

Is the HPB 6000k really blue or just a slight hint of blue? How does it match with your 4300k oem hids?

It is just a regular halogen bulb. I thought you were just wanting color match. If you want brigthness, HID kit I guess.

HPB 4300K is a match for OEM

Their 6000K is really closer to a 5000 or 5500K anyway. It's a slight tint of blue.

I have their 6000K on my bike and 4300K in my fogs on the BMW.

Idea...why not get the HPB fogs, and Morimoto bulbs?
http://www.highperformancebulbs.com/hipexerecahi.html HID canbus ballasts
*You'll need to email HPB to tell you how to get just the H8/whatever appropriate ultra canbus ballast and appropriate error cancellers/wiring/other doodads accept for the bulb. They'll probably set you up with a paypal link.

http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...oducts_id=4118 <-- Those are the bulbs, both the HPB ballast and the Morimoto bulbs use the AMP connectors, so it will work just fine together! (AMP connection is the connection between the ballast and the HID bulb, which is two connectors, and it's interdependent of the car's bulb type--so a fog light application requiring an H8 bulb will have a ballast that accepts H8 connections, and then an AMP connection to the HID bulb, which will fit an H8 socket. I hope that makes sense!!)

Oh yeah, just make sure you get the right bulb for your application.

No problem! And if you're getting Morimoto D1S bulbs, Morimoto fog bulbs will match perfectly!
