What do you guys think of the new 2021 BMW M5C?
It looks really nice imo. Idk if I am a fan of the interior seats. They dont look too comfortable. Other than that, it looks hella nice. But, I can't afford it.

Love it. I had the opportunity to flog one of the “regular” M5’s a while back at my old work. What a machine. I can only imagine what this thing is like to drive.
I hate when my d*ck flies out of my pants under hard braking, so I think the seats are great.

Looks like it's a CS? I think that's an even more special edition than a plebeian Competition package.
It's true tho, those seats will only get in the way of your constant erection from driving an M5CS. |

Looks like an interesting exercise but makes little sense to me. Why compromise so much on a car that is too big and heavy?
The M5 strikes a good balance, if you're really wanting to go fast best to start with a much smaller platform. |

Seems pointless to me. It will be fast on a track, but it will tear the Hell out of the tires, brakes, and suspension due to the weight. It won't be comfortable on the street AT ALL with those seats and presumably rock-crusher suspension.
![]() I totally don't get the point of track-focused luxobarges. If you can afford this, you can afford a fast enough sedan for the road and something that will actually be great on a trackday. Or better yet, something luxurious that can TOW the trackday toy to the track. Love the paint, hate the bronze accents.

I think many people are completely missing the point. Do you think BMW is going struggle to sell these? Doubt it...
Anyone in this thread who has actually driven a new X5M, X6M, or the M5 knows they’re undeniable. What makes them so appealing is that SUVs and luxury mid-size sedans aren’t supposed to be able to do the things they can do. They’re insane. You can talk all you want about curb weight, practicality, etc... but until you’ve driven even the lowly pleb non-CS, non-Competition M5, I would reserve judgement. You guys are right: most people who buy these probably aren’t tracking them. You know why? Because they have that fuck-you money and can afford to buy a dedicated track car. This discussion made me think of a guy I sold an M6 Gran Coupe to many years ago. Guess why he wanted it? None of his other cars—one of which was a brand-new 911 GT3–was practical for daily driving. ![]()

People with "fuck you" money don't drive M5's. They drive high end cushy cruisers as a daily then have a 911 or something for the track. That's the issue with this car. It doesn't do anything well, besides 0-100 runs. You think the "fuck you" rich people are going to spend that much on something that rattles their every joint going down the road? Of course not.

I'd like to feel the acceleration for sh!ts and giggles but honestly wouldn't want to own this if someone gave it to me. It's way more engine thrills than I should be exposed to on public roads on a daily basis, with none of the tension release of a MT. I'm sure my days in this car would be numbered in more ways than one.
