Alpina Transmission Flash

Long time member here, just picked up my 3rd 335i, 2012 e92 and looking to have an Alpina Flash completed for my 6AT. I can't do remote coding because my only Windows Laptop is from work and requires VPN for internet access. I'm looking for someone that can do it locally. I live in Laurel and am willing to drive an hour or so in any direction to get it done. Any help or recommendations would be appreciated.

You should to xHP flash. Can do it right from the app and pick which stage you want.

What is that broski? Never heard of it and I don't know what app you're referring to. I'm gonna buy the Carly box to code the other features in that I want, but they don't have anything for flashing the trans. If you could point me in the right direction that would be most helpful. Don't wanna do a bunch of research on the wrong product/subject. Thanks.

Yes. That's exactly what your looking for. In my research it seems that the xHP flash is performing better then the Alpina trans flash. I'm going with the xHp when the time comes.

Def get XHP it is much better, I've tried various different flashes including Alpina and some OEM flashes. XHP is by far the best, one of the best mods I've done on my car except maybe DP.

You can use a USB odbc connector for bmws. Get them off Amazon for $10, they work alot better than the wireless ones from carly

I'd suggest BimmerGeeks ProTool over Carly.

I'd suggest the same. Not a fan of Carly due to it's subscription model. I purchased Bimmergeeks protool 1 time.....and I have it for the long haul! I don't think there's anything Carly does that my Protool can not. Food for thought if you haven't pulled the trigger yet

I have not purchased anything yet. Still getting the tag and title sorted out. Thanks for the recommendation gentlemen, I'll do some research on the Protool before making a final decision. I'm just looking for simple coding options and the ability to read codes and self diagnose issues. Not married to Carly, just the most popular 1 from my old days on the forums. A lot has changed and improved I'm sure.

What's going on sir? I purchased the Protools on your recommendation and everything has gone well since I got it. I've been able to do everything with the exception of coding the three corner LEDs on the headlights off. Have you done this mod?
