So I was driving last night and my engine suddenly lost power, engine management light came on, and engine cut out, all in quick succession.
There wasn't any roughness at all, just a sudden judder.
Oil + fuel levels etc all good.

Roadside assistance plugged in diagnostics and fault codes P3263 & P3002 came up.

Getting all sorts of generic web search results for both codes.

P3263: apparently could be EGR/Swirflap related
P3002: apparently could be fuel injector/filter related. Also seen glow plug relay, but I don't think that would relate with what happened.


The engine cranks but won't start - it's almost like the engine sounds empty 😅.

I'm wondering if it could be the fuel pump?

Has anyone had a similar experience?
