Horizon LED's ??

Are these to be trusted? Seen a few bad posts regarding them lately. Otherwise anyone know of a decent alternative?

I spoke at length to them regarding my last order & they were really good & very helpful but I notice they haven't been online for a about 4 - 6 weeks

Hopefully my latest order will be just as smooth

Things don't look so good to me......

To be honest their feedback was spotty a year ago so I bought mine from a local ebay seller. They were exact same bulbs for 20 quid cheaper at the time and no problems whatsoever.....

I've had a email from Horizon saying I'll get my order next week due to the Hol's, can't fault them for giving me an update on New Years Day

So far so good

Looked at several on eBay today, couldn't find the ones I wanted with any guarantee, used Horizon as you get 2 years

+1

They were prompt to deliver mine, fitted perfect and looked awesome. I went for 40W.

Also the 2 year warranty was important to me as previous bulbs had blown. Lots of Chinese and American bulbs out there aren't put together too well

In my experience the warranty is useless if the company won't get back to you, or repeatedly ask you for the same information when you try and find out what's going on and then don't bother responding. In my opinion id never use them again and this is all over a few quids worth of bulbs. I'd rather be told to piss off than just ignored which is very poor form for a company in this day and age.

I had no real issues when purchasing either. It was the after sales that failed completely. I'd email them about the issue, eventually they would ask a bunch of questions and I'd reply promptly. I'd then hear nothing back and have to start the whole procedure again when trying to chase them up. Eventually I got bored and gave up as it just wasn't worth the hassle and bought some replacements much cheaper on eBay. And yes I checked my spam on a regular basis.

I'm not at all surprised they have taken a beating on here and would heartily recommend any other option before giving them any money.

I wouldn't use them again.

Sent for headlights for my bike - they said they would be suitable, but even though they sent a mish-mash of parts, the bulbs were no use because of their size - something I talked about to them beforehand.

No response from after sales until they sent another advertising e-mail that I replied to - then a flurry of e-mails, but nothing forthcoming in the way of bulb, or requested information, despite a number of attempts at contact with them.
I've given up with them, even though I'm around £40 down to them. I would hesitate to call them crooks - maybe they are to busy selling to bother with queries.

So, some 12 months later, I have bought a cheapie LED from China, which, although it cost a fiver, fits and works.

They were spot on. Much brighter and the inner outer ring difference was much less noticeable compared to others that I have tried.

Do they appear as bright as the current F3x one's?

Do you have them coded as DRL's?

I don't think they can be as bright as f3X without taking the headlight apart. F3X models have a bulb for each Angel IIRC.

My old E90 had xenons and auto lights so I always had DRL on
