Dude, you can get a fat place here for cheap. My wife is stationed at Randolph so we live north central.
Most people stationed at Lackland live in La Canterra area. Either way, you go up North/Northwest of Lackland and you can find some nice neighborhoods...

lol....the base housing on Lackland is nice BTW...I don't know the areas around Lackland other than the little bit of driving around....
Yeah....I don't trust shops around here to work on BMW's...that's what the hobby shop on base is for...

I called Rhinewest and they want $350-$450 to install a short shift kit with an illuminated m3 shift knob and replacing the cdv to the modified cdv from **********s. They seem like nice, knowledgeable guys though.

Dude, you seriously have to do those things yourself. I've done the CDV before.....
There are DIY's on here for everything....

I live at 1604/281.
I think I have seen maybe one or two slightly modded around. But you never know...maybe some of these don't do any cosmetic mods..... I saw a modded E60 M5 parked in front of the HEB at Thousand Oaks/Jones Maltberger. I'm thinking it had to be a manager's because of where it was parked and it was right before closing time. It was beautiful either way. I'll be out of town on the 4th....

Hey does anyone know a place that will roll fenders? Or does anyone know where to get one?
I just put 10mm spacers on the rear and I'm rubbing bad....

I am actually looking for that as well, I heard not many places are willing to touch e9x fenders here in SA for some reason.

I had some work done at Bertsmotorwerks a while back. When I was there there was a guy that said he could do it. But that place WAY overcharged me for the work they did so I'm a little reluctant to get it done.
But with that said, I called them today to talk to the guy. He wasn't there but they said they'd call him and have him call me. He never called me today so hopefully he'll call tomorrow. I'll keep you updated. I sure wish some of you other guys could chime in...can't believe none of you have any ideas....

Well, I'm the only one posting in this thread now, lol...
The guy came over and rolled my fenders. He was awesome. So if anyone ever wants his number, let me know...
